Dr. Ubani was born in Ahiazu Mbaise, Imo State of Nigeria. He attended Vauxhall College, Hendon College of Technology London, Elizabeth Gaskell College of Education Manchester England, University of New Hampshire and Western Colorado in USA. At the University of Greenwich, he obtained a post graduate qualification in Further and Higher Education.
Dr. Ubani was a senior principal lecturer and Head of Department of Department of Hospitality Management, Federal Polytechnic Idah (Cogi State of Nigeria). He was the chairman of hotel & Catering Management HND National Syllabus Development Committee at Idah for the syllabus approved and adopted for national accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education NBT.
He is a consultant in Hospitality Material-human Resources Development and Tourism Management. He is also a consultant in the developing economies Tourism Behaviour and Management.
